Assisted "Stretching"
Did you notice the quotes around "stretching"? That is intentional! In our sessions, stretching is not about lengthening a muscle, although it may give that feeling. Assisted "stretching" may slowly teaching your body a new stretch tolerance, with a goal of either a temporary increase in range of motion, a feeling of relaxation or both.

She listened to my areas of concern and then tailored the massage specifically to MY needs. It was different than Iโve ever had. I felt like it was the first time that a massage was actually massage THERAPY.

This has been so far theeee best massage Iโve ever received. Awesome communication throughout, Meghan listened to me as to what my needs and wants were and answered any question I had as to why she was doing certain things. She put on the right pressure. This was also the first time ever that I didnโt have a muscle ache the next days later and she still got all the knots and tension out! Thank you for this wonderful experience Meghan! I soooo wish I lived closer!!

Iโve been seeing Meg for over a year now! My sessions with Meg have had a huge positive impact for preparation and recovery from running several half marathons as well as getting me through my first 2 full marathons! When I first moved to Reston I used to go to Massage Envy but became tired of therapists telling me how tight my muscles were or that I should โreally stretch moreโ itโs hard to relax when you think someone is going to criticize you.

If you want a friendly and professional massage therapist who will not “tell” you to relax, who will listen to you and personalize the session to meet your goals, do yourself a favor and contact Meg for your massage session! She is passionate about what she does and you will walk away feeling ready to take on what is next!

She is so knowledgeable about the muscles and how everything works together so she was able to concentrate in particular areas to release the tension and help me unwind and relax. Meg’s welcoming personality and beautiful space add to the package. I’d highly recommend trying Meg for your next massage.

Anyone looking for the perfect massage therapist, look no longer. Meg Donnelly, LMT, is the very best I have ever been to. Meg’s easy approach is wonderful for people who have never had a massage, and fantastic for people who have had past massages, and want a relaxing, therapeutic experience like no other.

I loved my massage with Meg. Not only is she super knowledgeable about massage, she really listens and cares. She is very open and communicates everything she is doing. I was really impressed that she researched my issue before I arrived and talked me through everything. As a runner, I felt wonderful after my session. I highly recommend Meg. I can’t wait to go back! ๐

Meg is very knowledgeable, experienced and professional. She really listens to what you need from the massage and works to meet your specific needs. Her studio is very, very clean (important to this germaphobe). I’m taking a short break for surgery but can’t wait to resume my weekly time of total relaxation with her.

I feel like a new person after spending an hour with Meg! She was very informative, thorough, creative with her techniques, and completely thoughtful in everything she did. I felt safe and in great hands experiencing a one hour massage with her. I can’t recommend her enough!

Iโm an endurance athlete and Iโve been visiting Meg for over a year. Itโs now a basic part of my recovery/attrition management. Iโd always thought massage was kind of an indulgent nice-to-have. When I showed up I was concerned I had a serious back problem. She proved me wrong on both counts.
Sheโs incredibly friendly, warm and approaches her work from a sports medicine perspective. If youโre working through an injury or just want to avoid one, get on her calendar.
